What does survival look like to you?

For me my view of survival has changed over the years. It used to be me, literally surviving through my life. One minute at the time. Now I feel equipped with the tools to move from struggle and survival to actually living and experiencing my life as it happens. These changes didn’t happen overnight, but instead with me taking the time to turn inward and reflect on where I was and where I wanted to be.

What do you need?

As with most things some days are better than others. Part of living and learning is also understanding when you need a break. It’s about being in tune with yourself and allowing yourself time and space to heal, unwind and process.

Today I’m giving myself rest for my mind, space for my soul and grace for my shortcomings and mistakes.
